I teach a dynamic form of Hatha yoga which uses a combination of physical postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to develop self-awareness and mental clarity. It promotes a healthier body and a calmer more focused mind.
The physical postures will improve flexibility, stamina, strength and balance while at the same time releasing tension.
The Pregnancy Yoga class on Tuesday at 6pm will help to prepare the mother’s body for birth and to cope with the changes that are taking place in her body over pregnancy. Breathing exercises are calming and nurturing and will help the mother to connect to her baby and to relax so that her baby can be born more easily.
As I teach in small groups it is easier for me to tailor the practices to the individual constitution and needs of the student.
